BOOKS. It is all the reading I’ve been doing that made me first think about Listed. I’ve become a literary gourmand. I attribute this to (a) my hour-long subway ride to work; (b) the New York Public Library app; and (c) the two killer book groups that I’m lucky to be a part of. This section chronicles my meanderings.
DANCE. I have no training in the art of dance or the academic study of it, but I like to watch it. Dance hovers somewhere between theater and sport. It is the incomparable athletic ability of the dancer which drives the performance, but the art lies in that which exceeds this physicality.
FOOD. Cooking satisfies both the social and the creative. It is a convener – bringing people (friends, kids, family) to the table. But it’s also a place where I experiment and try to learn. Right now I’m cooking my way through the New York Times cooking app and have noted my modifications with each post.
SOCCERGEOGRAPHIES. Through my son’s soccer life, my travels are usually centered around various pitches squeezed into the odd locations in out of the way places. Soccergeographies is a photographic list and travel log.
